ACTIVITIES FOR GROUPS
These outdoor activities are a fun way to strengthen the bonds of a team while enjoying being outside and in nature. All the activities can be arranged with food and accommodation, either in adventurous outdoor sceneries at Naawa Nature Camp or at one of the local hotels.

Outdoor cooking
This activity will give You a chance to learn the basics in outdoor cooking.

Survival skills
In this program, You'll learn the basics in surviving under the conditions of nature.
Nature School
This activity will give You a chance to learn the basics in nature
We will examine some common scandinavian flora and try to spot some of the animals of the forest. After a relaxing and informative nature walk You get to make Your own fire in a traditional way and we'll prepare some tea and snacks from what we've found in the forest. The programme will be altered according to season and a more seaside focused programme is also available.

Outdoor cooking
This activity will give You a chance to learn the basics in outdoor cooking.
We will prepare a dinner together over an open fire made from plants found in nature alongside local ingredients. You will learn how to take hygienic aspects into consideration in the field, get the basics in fire safety and get some insider tips on different ways to cook a meal over open fire.
We will finish off with some discussion while we enjoy our self-prepared meal around the fire.

You'll learn how to "call" for help, how to build a quick-fix shelter, and how to make a fire to keep You warm without matches or lighters.
After the program, we will enjoy a hot beverage by the fire and discuss surviving and safety outdoors

The famous Archipelago ring route crosses half of the island, and the location of Naawa Nature Camp is just perfect for an overnight stay, as it is just a few hundred meters away from Galtby harbor.

- We purchase products from reliable partners who respect the responsible values. We prefer local and domestic products.
- We sort all our waste and offer a trash sorting station for the customers
- We only serve plant based products at our activities.

- At Korpo Kajakboden we donate a small sum for every kayak and SUP-board rented as well as a small percentage of the guided tours to the John Nurminen Foundation

- Naawa is awarded with the Sustainable Travel Finland label. The label is awarded by Visit Finland for companies that have undergone the whole program and fulfilled the criteria about sustainable and responsible tourism.
