Day tour in the Archipelago

Your adventure begins at dawn as you depart Turku by bus, watching the landscape shift into a labyrinth of islands and bridges.
Upon arriving in Korpo, you will meet your professional wilderness guide and head straight to the water for a 3-hour guided kayak tour. Gliding silently through sheltered coves, you’ll discover the archipelago from its most intimate perspective—the waterline.
After working up an appetite, we gather at the local Restaurant Buffalo to enjoy a steaming bowl of traditional fish soup, a true staple of island life.
The journey continues onto the land with a hike through a scenic forest path. Here, you’ll breathe in the scent of ancient pines and sea salt before pausing for a traditional outdoor coffee break (fika) in the fresh air.
To conclude your day, we embrace the ultimate Finnish ritual: a classic sauna. The deep, soft heat will soften your muscles and clear your mind before your evening return to Turku. Do you dear to take a swim in the ocean?

On the beautiful archipelago island of Korpo in the center of the Turku archipelago, about 80 kilometres from Turku. You can get here easily by car, bus or bicycle.
Korpo is well connected to the mainland via two ferries that are free and operate around the clock, all year round. During the summer with about 15 min. intervals, in winter slightly less frequently.

The famous Archipelago trail crosses half of the island, and the location of Naawa Nature Camp is just perfect for an overnight stay, as it is just a few hundred meters away from Galtby harbor.
